These yummy fruit kebabs are a must at any dinner party or a perfect way to encourage kids to eat their fruit. As a little girl I loved making these arty treats with my Mum & it deffo encouraged me to eat my five a day!
Ingredients
1 Honeydew melon
3 Kiwis (make sure they aren’t too ripe- mushy kiwi is never yummy)
1 Punnet strawberries
1/2 Fresh pineapple or 1 tin pineapple chunks
1 Punnet black & green seedless gapes
10 Kebab skewers or cocktail sticks
Optional marshmallows if you fancy adding them like I did
Preparation Method
Prep time: 10mins
Serves: 10 (2 skewers pp)
1.) Peel & wash all the fruit
2.) Chop the fruit into roughly 2cm cubes (leaving the grapes & strawberries whole)
3.) Thread the fruit onto the skewer, alternating the colours of the fruit
4.) If you have substituted the fruit I have used for apples, oranges, pears or banana’s squeeze a little lemon juice over them to prevent the fruit from browning.
